Excellent rally, everyone!
25 03 2008The rally/tintamarre here in Saint John earlier today went off well. The crowd was noisy and spirited, the speakers were passionate, and the weather was bright. The highlight was young EFI student Hannah, who read out a letter she wrote, in French, to the Minister. Not a bad turn-out either, especially after a holiday weekend and a snow day on Thursday.
Hope to see you in Fredericton on Thursday. And remember, buses are traveling from Moncton, Sackville, Saint John and Sussex.

I thought things went really well also - glad to see so many young ones out, making noise, protesting this decision! Long live choice!
It was good to see people coming out. We certainly made a point of being there. Here is a link to an episode of CBC’s And Sometimes Y program that some time ago discussed the benefits of bilingualism, which may be of interest to some of your readers.
