Thinking of slogans
24 03 2008for placards for the demonstrations tomorrow and Thursday. Off the top of my head:
- One size fits none
- Choice for New Brunswick students
- Listen to parents
- Listen to kids
- What’s the rush, Kelly?
- Don’t turn back the clock
- Kelly: “Don’t bother me with the facts!”
- Bilingualism is more than a slogan
- Say “oui” to French!
From my seven-year-old EFI son:
- Keep French Immersion
- Kids like learning other languages
- Kids like French
Please add suggestions in the comments!

Don’t tell me what’s best for MY children
You had the choice, Kelly
Progression, NOT Regression!
Demand Choice!
Flawed reports lead to flawed decisions
You can’t raise one up by putting down another.
Has anyone checked the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms? In section 23(2) it states that, “Citizens of Canada of whom any child has received or is receiving primary or secondary school instruction in English or French in Canada, have the right to have all their children receive primary and secondary school instruction in the same language.” How can we all be accomodated in District 1 (the French district)? EFI is the only practical option! This quote of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms can be found directly in NB Department of Education policy 321! Has Kelly read it?
Hi Randy,
There are people looking into our legal recourses but most regard that as Plan B, in case the political struggle to get this plan stopped (Plan A) is unsuccessful.
